Halloween Ends Revisited: The Final Cut
Original Title: Halloween Ends (2022)
Faneditor: kidjupiter92
Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 1st April 2023
Fanedit Runtime: 91
Synopsis: Halloween Ends Revisited: The Final Cut is the first of a planned four-part series focusing on the storyline established in the H40 trilogy, starting with Halloween (2018). Although I loved Halloween Ends when it came out and it satisfied me in its intended aim, I can still see the flaws that a lot of people have problems with. With that in mind, I took the time to cut 20+ minutes of footage, replace one sequence, extend another sequence, and recolor the entire film to present a hopefully more enjoyable version of this divisive film. I am proud to present Halloween Ends Revisited: The Final Cut.

Halloween Ends: Extended Cut
Original Title: Halloween Ends (2022)
Faneditor: kidjupiter92
Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: Extended Edition
Fanedit Release Date: 1st April 2023
Fanedit Runtime: 116
Synopsis: Back in October of 2022, Halloween Ends -- the third chapter of David Gordon Green's reboot trilogy of the Halloween franchise -- was released in theatres, billed as the "final explosive chapter in the Michael Myers/Laurie Strode story". The film proved to be quite divisive within the Halloween fandom due to choices made within the film regarding how Michael was handled and the introduction of new character, Corey Cunningham, who serves quite a large role within the film for the entirety of the film's runtime. Everyone has strong opinions regarding the film: you either love it or hate it. Being in what appears to be a small minority, I enjoyed the movie for what it is, and its that enjoyment that made me want to create an extended edition that reintegrated all of the deleted and extended scenes to create the longest cut of the film possible. I am proud to present Halloween Ends: Extended Cut.

Halloween: The Night of The Boogeyman
Original Title: Halloween (1978)Halloween II (1981)
Faneditor: LastSurvivor
Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: FanMix
Fanedit Release Date: 1st October 2022
Fanedit Runtime: 99
Synopsis: There have been many edits of Halloween and Halloween II combined to make one full night of terror from The Shape in its pursuit of Laurie Strode. However, whereas a lot of those edits are quite gentle exercises in basically bridging the two movies together, resulting in a movie almost 3 hours in length, the intent with The Night of The Boogeyman is to take on the challenge of combining both movies to make one night of terror that only lasts around the normal length of a slasher film - in other words, 90 - 100 minutes.

Synopsis: A combo edit of Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills made to feel like a singular experience both in narrative and runtime. Halloween Kills events have been shifted into the Halloween 2018 narrative while lots of music cues have been changed to better suit this particular edit. Some scenes have been cut to get us into the action sooner while other scenes have been cut due to poor audience reception (every single Tivoli bit is gone from Halloween Kills).

Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: FanMix
Fanedit Release Date: 1st March 2020

Synopsis: Following the original shooting script for the film, shuffling around a lot in the first 2 thirds and adding back deleted scenes to fill some gaps in the story, I've tried to restore the film back to how it was originally structured. Nothing major has been cut, it's the same terror-filled film you remember, just restructured for a fresh experience. Strap once more to believe in the boogeyman like never before.

Halloween Homecoming
Original Title: Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
Faneditor: LastSurvivor
Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 1st October 2019
Fanedit Runtime: 73
Synopsis: Halloween Resurrection came after the success of Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later, where it appeared that Laurie Strode had once and for all destroyed infamous serial killer and her brother, Michael Myers, aka The Shape. Therefore, trying to explain away just how he could have survived such a definitive and crowd pleasing ending, was always going to put the film makers involved in another sequel in a very difficult position. That aside, Resurrection decided to kill off Laurie Strode in the first 10 minutes of the film. The rest of the film played with the concept of a media company, Dangertainment, inviting some lucky teenage entrants to try and spend a night in the house of Michael Myers, on Halloween no less. This concept, with all the web cameras etc was actually quite an intriguing one to bring to the series. However, annoying characters such as Freddie (played by Busta Rhymes) reduced the film to a bit of an embarrassment, especially when it came to poking fun at Michael and having Freddie defeat him by using his kung fu no less.

David Gordon Green's Halloween
Original Title: Halloween (2018)
Faneditor: Ryantology
Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 1st January 2019
Fanedit Runtime: 99
Synopsis: My edit of Halloween (2018) aims to tighten up the pacing while eliminating some of the more polarizing elements of the film like Sartain wearing Michael's mask. I also made a point to eliminate some of the more cringeworthy lines throughout when possible and added in a deleted scene to help with a bit of character development. Doesn't reinvent the wheel but also not a minor edit that took an hour to do.

Rob Zombie's Halloween (The 1978 Edit)
Original Title: Halloween (2007)
Faneditor: Ryantology
Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 1st January 2019
Fanedit Runtime: 71
Synopsis: The 1978 Edit really aims to take Rob Zombie's Halloween and make it closer in tone to its predecessor. The entire white trash family angle is gone, Michael never speaks as a child, and both the gore and language have really been toned down. The pacing is very lean and tight. Almost the entire movie has been rescored with a lot of music coming from the soundtrack to Halloween 2018.

Halloween H20: 20 Years Later - A Fanedit (2018)
Original Title: Halloween H20: 20 Years later (1998)
Faneditor: The Butcher
Franchise: Halloween
Fanedit Type: FanFix
Fanedit Release Date: 1st November 2018
Fanedit Runtime: 91
Synopsis: HALLOWEEN H20 was released in 1998 and falls right in the post-SCREAM slasher "renaissance". Therefore, while the concept and performances of H20 are stellar, the cinematography, editing and music were all influenced somewhat negatively by the mega-hit that was Wes Cravens's 1996 movie. Also, studio interference resulted in a music score that was mostly scrapped at the last minute and replaced. A similar thing happened with the mask chosen by the filmmakers. These changes permeate the original movie and make it feel disjointed and lacking identity. My edit attempts to fix these issues by trying to get out of SCREAM's shadow and making the movie feel more like a thematic and stylistic successor to the first two movies in the franchise,
