| Review: T2 Dehanced The work done in this is incredible, and I have to give props to EVERYTHING that was done to make this look as authentic to low budget 90s flicks as possible. There’s maybe one new VFX shot that doesn’t work for me, but the rest is a real visual feat. I do feel like there is a lot lost in an edit like this though, and unfortunately there’s a lot of great things that are lost in the process of “cheapening” Terminator 2. I enjoyed this, of course, and the lengths taken to give this a low budget feel are great, but it definitely feels lacking when matched up to the original. That’s by design, no doubt, but it doesn’t really make me want to watch it again. Overall, I’d recommend it for anyone who wants to see a “demake” of Terminator 2, but it’s just not for me. |
