Synopsis:
Imagine if you were able to have a search engine sort through all the media ever created on a topic of your choice and it would create a program of your determined length.
Intentions:
To investigate the underlying themes and memes of Star Wars culture at the end of the Star Wars franchise’s film career. The General Synopsis is ‘imagine if you were able to have a search engine sort through all the media ever created on a topic of your choice and it would create a program of your determined length’. I’ve attempted to do this for the topic of Star Wars in the duration of time just around the release of Revenge of the Sith. The 40+ hours of media has been condensed into 3.5 hours and the 700+ sources have been cut-up and recompiled into chapters which reflect the underlying themes and memes. It’s a video compilation/media analysis of sorts.
