Synopsis:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure continues straight after the scenes from Return of the jedi finding the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett escaping the Sarlacc pit and navigating the sands of Tatooine to stake his claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt.

Intentions:

Telling the story of The Book of Boba Fett in a chronological timeline, while stripping as much unnecessary dialogue in order to reflect Boba’s character from the original trilogy.

Change List:

• Insert Fanedit warning • Add new old ben Kenobi trailer. • Insert Intro MR logo • Add Episode 1 Intro titles • Add “A Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….” • Change audio timing to fit above addition. • Add black screen to enhance tension timing and build up. • Insert C3P0’s RotJ Sarlacc Speech in 5.1 Surround Sound. • Change entire edit colourgrade to match OT palette. • Add empty Jabba’s Palace shots – Episode 1 • Insert Boba inside Sarlacc shots. • Insert new Opening title shots “Chapter I Strange in a Strange land” • Remove Boba in Bacta tank shot. • Add fade to black in and out. • Remove Boba petting the Dog shot. This now makes it look like Boba has killed the animal, showing that he is ruthless at this stage but allowing a larger character arc as the episode develops. • Remove weird continuity error of Boba looking like he’s saying something but not. Tightening up this shot makes it flow a lot better. • Remove Dog waking up. It’s dead in this edit. • Remove Boba in Bacta tank and skip later where the story continues. • Add fade to white in and out. • Remove Boba saying “what?”. One of many dialogue edits to have Boba say as little as possible. • Remove Boba saying “Dig for that? Oh, you want me to dig for that?”. The back and fourths slow this scene down. • Remove Boba saying “No hard feelings, mate!”. • Remove Boba saying “I need some water”. Less is more. • Remove Boba saying “I would like a drink?”. Boba should take, not ask plus this scene plays out much better without dialogue. • Cut out overly extended shot of them digging. Pacing is awful in the original just to pad runtime. • Add fade to black at the end of Episode 1. • Remove outro credits. • Remove Intro credits for Episode 2. • Add fade to black as transition. • keep grainy shot intro to show Boba’s vision returning after being knocked out. • Remove Boba’s frustrated line “I am holding it the same”. Doing this shows Boba has more respect for teachings and it ready to learn without impatience. • Remove Dog and chief shot as I’ve used this in the Old ben Kenobi Edit. • Fix audio transition • Remove Boba saying “Stop! Stop! these are mine!” they aren’t his. They’re a gift to the chief. • Fix audio to remove Boba’s voice but keep background noise. • Remove Boba saying “Maybe not.” Again, showing impatience instead of tolerance. • Remove Boba saying “That depends on how you answer what I’m about to ask.” Another pointless line. Less is more. • Remove Boba saying “I’m sorry” No need to apologise here. • Add fade to black at the end of Episode 2. • Remove outro credits. • Remove Intro credits from Episode 3. • Add fade to black. • Fix audio transition. • Remove credit outro. • Remove episode 2 intro. • Fix audio for seamless transition. • Remove grainy flashback intro to Boba riding Bantha shot. • Add circular wipe outro to match OT. • Add Movies Remastered outro credit text. • Insert outro credits from Episode 2. • Add MR logo to end credits. • Add MR Disney Saber logo to end credits.
