The fourth episode of my Clone Wars Movie Series. Eight episodes of the TV series are presented in the classical Star Wars movie structure. The Clone Wars continue to rage across the Galaxy. With no end in sight, over a thousand worlds have declared neutrality. Suspecting a Seperatist plot, Obi-Wan Kenobi has been sent to question the leader of the Council of Neutral Systems, the Duchess of Mandalore.
Intentions:
The Clone Wars movie and TV series were a great addition to Star Wars canon. However, there was a lot of filler, it was often very child-orientated and had villains that were less than threatening. I wanted to create a movie series that stuck to the Star Wars movie structure while also stripping out the filler, removing the childish elements and creating threatening villains.
Change List:
- Use shots from "Children of the Force' to produce an elongated scene of Kenobi's starfighter approaching Mandalore. - Move initial Dooku/Vizla scene, giving separation between scenes on Mandalore and Concordia. - Cut Aerial part of Vizla/Kenobi fight. - Cut final Kenobi/Satine scene on Concordia. - Cut entire on-board assassination storyline from Voyage of Temptation - Intercut The Duchess of Mandalore & Senate Spy so both episodes occur simultaneously. - Alter Dooku/Vizla scene to imply that Dooku will be sending reinforcements to Mandalore. - Cut Anakin/Ahsoka scenes at the "fortress". - Cut Sheild generator pointer sequence. - Cut Ahsoka's briefing scene. - Intercut Legacy of Terror and Brain Invaders so the 2 stories occur simultaneously.
Additional Notes:
The Mandalore and Geonosis arcs used to produce a cohesive narrative, adding the classical Star Wars opening crawl.
