Synopsis:

Second part of the X-Men Continuity Cut which sets to resolve the continuity errors that have blighted the series so far.

Intentions:

X2 in my opinion is one of the finest comic book movies, the changes made to this fanedit are minimal with the intention to bring the series as a whole in line with one another. fans of the films can now watch first class along with the first two x-men films with none of the continuity errors that have plagued the series so far. accompanying the film is a 45 min short film that removes the dark phoenix story from x-men: the last stand.

Change List:

With Hank McCoy starring in First Class as the blue mutant we all recognize as beast as well as being in X3, his brief cameo in human form has been removed. along with Sebastian Shaw who starred and was killed off in first class. Also removed is Kitty Pryde’s cameo, the character has appeared in three x-men films but is played by a different actress each time. in these fanedits she is talked about in both films but will not be seen until The Cure. Wolverines flasback scenes have been replaced with those from Wolverine Origins, though Bryan Singers flashback scenes are better the purpose of the edit is continuity. Stryker’s line about giving Wolverine claws has been removed as we see in Origins Wolverine has always had claws. Nightcrawlers close-up shoot at the end of the film has been removed. nothing against the actor/character but this scene made it look like nightcrawler was now apart of the x-men only to be excluded from the third film without any mention as to were he had gone.
