Intentions:
Superman Returns always needed some serious edits to make it feel like it belongs in the Richard Donner and Christopher Reeve universe, and this fanedit goes to great lengths to achieve the excitement we expect from the Man of Steel.

My focus was to remove the Stalker-man and Depressing-man elements, and also to remove the kid. From this point on the story has been rearranged where necessary to maintain a good pace and make the film more involving.

Plenty of cuts! Every scene with the kid has been removed or edited so he does not appear at all. And no fly-by stalking! These cuts impacted the story flow so I rearranged several scenes to make a new linear story that differs from the theatrical release. Most noticeable addition is the Return To Krypton deleted scene, with a new transition to finish it and bring us back to Earth. It's quite different from the theatrical release, so please don't expect a retelling of the rubbish that was on cinema screens back in 2006...!
