Synopsis:

Superman II has already had its history of different official and unofficial, so doing a new cut of the film isn't reinventing the reel or anything. This Expanded version uses the Donner Cut as a basis, and adding in footage and scenes from the Theatrical Cut and a few other sources to try and to assemble a more complete version of Donner's own cut.

Intentions:

I felt that the Donner cut felt a little incomplete, as it was missing stuff that was never shot and didn't extensively use the Theatrical Cut. So I've put back a few unused pieces from the TC, as well as extra deleted scenes included on the Blu-Ray, and a few short segements from the new and niche Vudu/iTunes cut that has some unique footage.
