Synopsis:

Dates changed to keep continuity with the rest of the F13 [raymix] series timeline. There are many cuts made to alter the timeline, remove filler, tighten the editing & improve the overall ambiance.

Intentions:

This project aims to bring stronger continuity, tighter editing & improved pacing to all 12 films in the Friday the 13th movie series.

Change List:

I tried to stay true to Joel Goodman & Daniel Loewenthal's editing style from the original film. I didn't want anything to seem changed or altered at all. This mostly meant sharp, quick cutting & trying to keep the energy high. Cuts and Additions: -added the Fanedit.org logo -added my fanedit production logo. -added music over the Paramount production logo & director credit. (Overlay of Evil) -added "A Joseph Zito Film" credit. -removed the recap. -new title logo. -edited the Main Theme to match the new title sequence. -added sound effects during the new title sequence. -removed the opening credits. -added "Sunday, June 15th 1980" text to the opening shot. -cut the ambulance arriving & driver dialog. -tighter cut from the ambulances leaving Higgins Haven to the doors opening at the hospital. -cut the first close up of the TV in Axel's office. -longer beat before Nurse Morgan enters Axel's office. -TV switches over faster when Axel changes the channel with the remote. -cut some of Axel's weird cursing. -cut some of Axel watching the workout video. -cut Nurse Morgan breaking the bottle. -added "Monday, June 16th" text to the shot of Trish & Mrs. Jarvis jogging. -tightened the back-n-forth editing during Jimmy & Ted's conversation about "B.J. Betty". -removed the 'Roadside Graves' scene. -cut the 'Jarvis Family Hug'. -cut some of the groups dialog as they unpack the car. -added "Tuesday, June 17th" to the shot of the group walking. -tight cut from Jimmy saying he doesn't "know anyone new" to the Twins arriving on bikes. -cut the Twins saying "That's where we're going."- they were headed in the other direction. -cut Paul's swim to Sam's raft shorter. -cut some of Mrs. Jarvis looking around the house. -cut some of Sara looking at herself in the mirror. -cut a bad shot of Rob's tent. -cut Trish's delayed reaction after Rob finds her in his tent. -cut some of Tina looking out the window. -cut some frames of the fake Doug head. -Sara reacts faster to finding Doug dead. -Jason is already attacking Rob when Trish arrives. -cut Rob yelling "He's killing me!" -Trish doesn't leave & come to back to the basement. -Jason grabs Trish as soon as she starts to run up the stairs. -cut some of Trish yelling "Tommy!" while he attacks Jason. -added a shot of Jason's mask to post-credits. -added my production logo to the end. -added music cue to post-credits & production logo.
