Synopsis:

Dates changed to keep continuity with the of the rest F13 [raymix] series timeline. There are many cuts made to alter the timeline, remove filler, tighten the editing & improve the overall ambiance.

Intentions:

This project aims to bring stronger continuity, tighter editing & improved pacing to all 12 films in the Friday the 13th movie series.

Change List:

I tried to stay true to George Hively's editing style from the original film. I didn't want anything to seem changed or altered at all. This mostly meant simple cutting & a general documentarian-style approach. Cuts and Additions: -added the Fanedit.org logo -added my fanedit production logo. -added music over the Paramount production logo & director credit. (Overlay of Evil) -new "A Steve Miner Film" credit. -removed the recap. -new title logo. -changed the numeral in the title from Arabic to Roman. -edited the Main Theme to match the new title sequence. -added sound effects during the new title sequence. -removed the opening credits. -added "Saturday, June 14th 1980" text to the opening shot. -removed the 'Snake in the Bunny Hutch' scene. -cut Harold using the toilet. -added "Sunday, June 15th" text to the shot of the van approaching. -removed any mention of Debbie being pregnant. -cut the group having to eat their grass when they see the cops. -removed the 'Crazy Old Man' scene. -cut some of Andy's 3D yo-yoing. -removed Loco's weird mumbled dialog as he goes up the ladder. -cut some of Andy & Shelly's 3D juggling. -cut Shelly going to the porch before he goes to the barn. -tighter cut at Shelly's scare in the barn. -cut Vera asking "what are you doing?" as Jason aims the speargun. -Jason doesn't take as long to aim the speargun. -tighter cut after Jason takes the hot fire poker from the fireplace. -cut some 'dead air' from Chrissy's flashback story. -smoothed a bad music loop during Chrissy's flashback story. -Chrissy doesn't stand outside yelling for Rick as long. -cut some frames of the fake Rick head. -removed visible wires from the eyeball pop. -Chrissy only battles two open windows instead of four. -the falling books don't knock Jason down. -removed the dream sequence. -cut the cops talking about Chrissy's dream. -cut Chrissy's freakout in the police car. -moved the shot of Jason in the barn to post-credits. -changed the lighting & color grading on the shot of Jason in the barn so it appears to be at night. -added my production logo to the end. -added music cue to post-credits & production logo.
