All 22 deleted scenes (23 minutes) have been restored to the second 2007 'The Thick Of It' Special to create the second of two feature length films. This extended cut includes both the deleted scenes and the 'Oposition Extra' footage.

Intentions:
Last time I got out my DVDs of the two 'The Thick Of It' 2007 Specials, I realised it would be cool to have all 38 minutes of deleted material added back in for ease of watching. Whenever I watch these DVDs I almost always watch the 3 deleted material compilations along with the episodes since they are of equal quality. They were clearly originally removed to meet a strict hour-long broadcast time and not because they were less funny. So I'm cutting in all non-duplicated footage seemlessly back in to create two feature length films I'm calling 'THE THICK OF IT: FULL DISCLOSURE (PARTS ONE AND TWO)'.

So I'm cutting in all non-duplicated footage seemlessly back in to create two feature length films I'm calling 'THE THICK OF IT: FULL DISCLOSURE (PARTS ONE AND TWO)'.
Change List:
I've added back all 23 minutes (22 Scenes) from the second deleted scenes compilation and the 'Opposition Extra' compilation. So we now see what the opposition got up to in 'real time' alongside the nightmare over in Whitehall. This was originally all removed for good reason, so the focus was kept on the government. Therefore me putting it back almost certainly isn't an improvement, it's just for fun to have an alternate cut. Hopefully I've managed to cut all the material back into appropriate places and maintained the rapid intercutting technique of the original show. I've also tried to maintain the punchline-then-cutaway rhythm by not extending the end of scenes (When the footage could've been used that way) but instead moving the additional footage to the next cut away.

The scene in question, originally featured Jamie revealing a minister had a Gambling problem. In this cut he reveals the minister is a secret swinger (IMO it's a much funnier premise).
