Intentions:
I wanted to create a homage to Lars Von Trier's Element Of Crime, and figured that an obsessive quest for an Equation of Crime would be a good base.

Change List:
I cut Pi down to the bone, so that it's basically the story of Max's obsession, featuring almost no interaction with other people. I added a tint to try and replicate the sickly sodium-light yellow of Von Trier's film and created a new electronic soundtrack inspired by Pi's excellent music to enhance and underscore the atmosphere.
