Synopsis:
Set during the chronology of the first film, "Ticket Home" is a reflective look at the hijinks of the 4077 M.A.S.H. Unit as they partake in the United Nation lead Korean "Police Action". The main difference between my edit and the original show is the pacing. The show had a very serialized pacing whereas the motion picture had an ebb and flow to it. I intended to make my MASH more like the film.
Intentions:
What if instead of a TV show, FOX decided to make a second MASH movie? Using the vast amount of footage from the show, I attempted to recreate the feelings and pace of the original motion picture.
Change List:
Re-sized to 16:9 with scale-up effects processing from DVD to 720p. Done with Adobe Premiere. Color Balanced Scenes to prevent Jaring from different episode cuts. Redid sounds on "Aid Station" - Animal noises for higher tension and replaced walking music with Suicide is Painless Yankee Doodle Doctor - The Fan edit in a Fan edit! (super META).
