Synopsis:

I focused again on removing Azog and the silly or excessive humor and cgi action. I also appended the opening 12 minutes of Battle of the Five Armies to end the film with the death of Smaug.

Intentions:

After trying to watch various fanedits of the Hobbit trilogy, I decided to make an edit combining all of my favorite ideas from others along with several of my own.

Change List:

-prologue flashback -various Azog scenes and references -Dwarves getting locked up (avoiding creeper Kili) -Thranduil implying Tauriel-Legolas-Kili triangle -Legolas creeping on Tauriel in dungeons -another Azog scene -barrel riding nonsense (go pro, bombur bowling, etc) -Legolas & Tauriel capture orc -Radagast birds -orc pack & captured orc interrogation -Alfred at docks -mayor scene -laketown spies & sneaking dwarves in through toilet -mayor & alfred scene -drunk bofur stumbling around -Radagast sled -Azog in Dol Guldor -Thrain flashback -moved dwarves outside door "that was a dragon" to later -dwarves entering mountain -dwarves' boss battle with Smaug -moved up Legolas vs Bolg & co -boss battle part 2 (keep bilbo & smaug "pay laketown a visit") -placed dwarves outside door "that was a dragon" before laketown reactions to dragon noise (used eric1894 smaug smashing out vfx) -add beginning of TBOTFA up to TBOTFA title card -first mayor & alfrid on boat scene -shot of mayor looking up at falling dragon.
