Synopsis:

The hate group CADMUS has attacked National City with a Kryptonite powered supervillain -- METALLO! Will the combined might of Supergirl and her cousin Superman be enough to save the day? Find out in this exciting, first ever team up of the heirs to the House of El!

Intentions:

The intent of this fan edit is to highlight the first appearance of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman in the Arrowverse. IMO Hoechlin is the best live action Superman/Clark Kent since Christopher Reeve, and his debut in this action packed season two premiere is pretty much pitch perfect. As always, with these Arrowverse fan edits, I try to downplay the soap and make our heroes more assertive and confident. In Kara's case, that means the complete elimination of the Jimmy love story and her momentary self doubt when she considers leaving her sister Alex to go live with Clark in Metropolis. By removing the extraneous soap and filler, you end up with an action packed adventure with some really touching heartfelt moments.
