Synopsis:

Robert Eggers' remake of Nosferatu was one of my most anticipated release of 2024, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I was completely blown away by the film, and I absolutely couldn't wait until the physical media release. I was pleasantly surprised when it was announced that an Extended Cut was going to be included, and like most people who caught that detail, my mind went wild with the possibilities my mind could conjure... until I saw that there were only going to be four minutes of new footage. It was an extension, I won't argue that, but I was expecting a little more, especially with the fact that this would be Eggers' first extended cut home media release. Using the Extended Cut of the film as the base of the project, I reintegrated the three deleted scenes from the bonus features and a handful of frames from a shot of the theatrical cut to create the longest version of the film possible. I am proud to present Nosferatu: Integral Cut.

Intentions:

To create the longest version of Robert Eggers' Nosferatu possible.

Change List:

- 00:42:18:05: Reintegrated the "Eileen at the Window" deleted scene. - 00:47:51:13: Reintegrated the "Harding's Bedchamber/Dark Corridor" deleted scene. - 01:13:01:22: Replaced part of the Extended Cut version of conversation between Prof. Albin, Dr. Wilhelm, and the Hardings with the theatrical cut version and blended it with its Extended Cut counterpart. - 01:59:54:10: Reintegrated the "Behold, the Third Night" deleted scene.

Additional Notes:

During the editing process, I was able to upmix the stereo soundtrack of the deleted scenes to 5.1 using the NUGEN Audio Halo Upmix plugin while in Adobe Audition, carefully mixed them to match the film's volume, and blended both soundtracks together as well as possible. Chapter stops - DTS HD-MA 5.1 and Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtracks
