Synopsis:

Vanessa visits Poindexter in the hospital to offer him a deal. A tragedy occurs, and we see that Vanessa is now running a criminal enterprise in New York, while her husband, on the other hand, is running for and wins the position of Mayor. He vows to fight against masked vigilantes. Hector Ayala tries to help someone being attacked in the subway, but accidentally causes another person's death. He is defended in court by Matt Murdock. Matt wins the trial, but Ayala is killed nonetheless. Vanessa and Wilson work through their family conflicts. Fisk expands his sphere of influence. Matt begins to track down the killer of White Tiger and trap an old friend. Fisk tries to break into high society, but they reject him. Poindexter is transferred to the general prison population. He asks for a lawyer. Vanessa resolves the last remaining issue in their marriage. Meanwhile, Fisk hosts a reception for the high society that once rejected him. Poindexter escapes from prison and goes hunting for Fisk, but someone else takes the bullet meant for him. A newly formed special police unit, created to apprehend vigilantes, is deployed into the streets amidst growing chaos. Fisk declares martial law.

Intentions:

This TV-to-Movie edition of Season 1 of Marvel Television Daredevil. This is the same version of the No Mercy (miniseries), but shorter and have more focus on mayor Fisk.
