Synopsis:

Jason Bourne dodges a ruthless C.I.A. official and his Agents from a new assassination program while searching for the origins of his life as a trained killer.

Intentions:

While I think the original Bourne trilogy is solid, I wanted something a bit more rewatchable - some parts I love but some long action sequences and slow parts really lose my attention when rewatching the series. This edit streamlines the story into a single feature length film, removing a lot of the car chases and some of the unnecessary diversions in the plot as well as the romance with Marie. That leaves a more suspenseful film that has moments of action but doesn't feel like it has an action sequence quota.

Below is the high-level edit list: -cut some slow parts of Bourne on the fishing boat to speed up the intro -cut sleeping in the park -cut one of the assassins (the one that jumps through the window) +move forward part of Ultimatum as a dream sequence -cut a lot of the car chase and drama after the Paris attack -cut the romance between Bourne and Marie -cut visiting the yacht company -cut Bourne intentionally falling 10 stories onto a concrete floor and surviving -cut the "wrap up" segments of Identity to segue smoothly into Supremacy -cut the long hallucination/beach shack intro of Supremacy to jump into the action -cut a lot of the Russian shooter scenes, most of them relate to the romance plot that was cut -cut Bourne visiting home of spy -cut Abbott killing Danny Zorn -cut Bourne's visit to Moscow, keep him talking to Pam and then leaving -cut the Moscow intro from Ultimatum and go straight into the journalist plotline -recut the journalist train station scenes -cut going to Tangier with Nicky, but preserve a mild romance plot between them -recut the finale chase -cut the other agent chasing and shooting Bourne -rework the ending to remove Bourne in the water and bring the story full circle using a bit of Supremacy
