Synopsis:

A bounty hunter named John Ruth is taking a dangerous fugitive named Daisy Domergue to the town of Red Rock for her execution. Trying to avoid a blizzard, Ruth, along with a black bounty hunter and a supremacist who claims to be the sheriff of Red Rock, take shelter at Minnie's Haberdashery. Little knowing that many of Domergue's friends are already there, ready to kill John Ruth when he goes to sleep. Will Ruth and his group find out the truth before it's too late?

Intentions:

My intent with this one was simple: To make the best possible version of this film that I possibly could. Most of the changes I've made happen at the beginning of the edit. Three of which I will share. The first thing I did was cut out the opening 10 minute scene of Marquis meeting up with John Ruth, as pretty much everything that happened in that scene is explained elsewhere in the film. The second thing I did was move the Four Passengers from chapter 5 to chapter 1, changing the film from Agatha Christie mystery to Hitchcockian thriller, and ensuring that the final act places more emphasis on Chris Mannix' decisions. The third thing I did was add in as many of the roadshow scenes as I could. Two did not make it due to the removal of the opening scene above, but otherwise, everything else should be intact. On a lesser note, I decided to color grade the flashback scenes in the film. I've given a sepia tone to The Four Passengers chapter, a faded magenta film-print look for the Chester Charles Smithers flashback shots, and a black and white makeover to the coffee poisoning scene in Domergue's Got a Secret. This was mostly to give the edit more of a Tarantino-esque flair similar to that of the Kill Bill movies.
