Synopsis:

As American forces attack the Japanese Island of Iwo Jima, both sides must deal with the horrors of the following 40 days of battle.

Intentions:

I wanted to combine two great war movies about the Battle of Iwo Jima into one supercut.

Reordered the entire movie to fit chronologically For the most part, I put the FooF flashbacks in chronological order instead of dispersed throughout Custom intro Custom information slides in end credits Some custom end credits Many, many cuts between POVs during the battle Cut one scene where the Japanese mention ships leaving Saipan, as it doesn't fit with the rest

Half the movie is in English, and the other half in Japanese with English subtitles
