Synopsis:

The Chronicles of Riddick is a franchise I've been in love with since I was a kid, after being introduced to Pitch Black by my father. In 2024, Arrow Video released a 4K restoration of the theatrical and Director's cuts of the film in a limited edition set just in time for its 20th anniversary. After picking up said set and reliving the film for the first time in a few years, I noticed changes between the two cuts that I hadn't before. After taking some time to make note of said changes, I decided to create a hybrid version of the film that restored bits and pieces from the theatrical cut to the Director's Cut, and extend it as much as I could. 2 minutes of excised footage and lines were reinstated to the film. I am proud to present The Chronicles of Riddick: The Final Cut.

Intentions:

To restore shots from the theatrical cut to the Director's Cut, and create the longest version of the film possible.
