Synopsis:

This is an edit of the essential Fright Night doc- You're So Cool, Brewster. I've removed segments related to moments that have been cut from my edit of the film. I've also made several other alterations- anecdotes have been made more concise, repeated comments have been trimmed out, ect., ect.

Intentions:

I wanted to create a version of the documentary that works as a companion to my edit of the film.

Change List:

CHANGES: This list only covers a fraction of the changes made. Most of the changes are unlisted. I get VERY lazy with the lists for my doc edits. Sorry. OVERALL CHANGES- -cut most shots & discussions of things that I've cut from my edit. -cut all the segments with the fake Peter Vincent. PRODUCTION CREDITS- -added the fanedit.org logo. -added my fanedit production logo. INTRO- -added a clip of Jerry Dandrige saying "Welcome to Fright Night." -extended the shot of TV static. -added a TV static sound as we cut to the opening. -cut Tom Holland saying he was a horror fan before there were horror fans. -cut the "Welcome" bit, as I already used it earlier. OPENING CREDITS- -cut two shots depicting scenes from FRIGHT NIGHT PART 2. TITLE CARD- -new title & title card. (Horrorshow! Making Fright Night) -added sound effects to the title. FEATURE- -cut Art Evans talking about his feelings on the title. -cut Jan Kiesser dogging on Tom Holland's storyboard art. -lots of trims to make stories more concise. -lots of trims to remove odd comments. -cut Steve Johnson repeatedly saying that he thinks his effects are better than others. -cut everything about the sequel & the remake. END CREDITS- -replaced the music with Don't Rescue Me [raymix] by Devo. -removed all the outtakes with fake Peter Vincent. -added my production logo.

Additional Notes:

I stuck to a simple documentary style. I didn't want anything to seem changed.
