Intentions:

This is a direct continuation of my edit of the first 7 episodes of the season, Long Live the Chief. Like I said in that post, the latter half of the series takes a pretty sharp detour with Diamondback being the new main antagonist, so I decided to split the season into TWO movies to let each story breathe and not overdue the runtime. Like all my other TV edits, I felt the series was just too a little slow for my taste at times, and I wanted to make an edit that's easier to swallow for myself and newcomers. I personally think Diamondback is WAY too overhated, but I do think he needed more flashbacks (which I don't have access too but that's beside the point). What I did do is begin with him and Luke as friends when they were young so we can see the stark contrast of their relationship from the beginning. The title is a reference to the song that Diamondback played to Damon Boone when he held him hostage, and the title of the song itself is a literal reflection of Luke's relationship with his father.
