Intentions:
With the upcoming release of both the remake of the second game and a new film, I decided to revisit my old edit on Silent Hill that was made back in 2020 and updated by following the film's original timeline, minus Sean Bean's character. In addition, there is new colour grading for the real world, silent hill, and otherworld.

Change List:
Replace the "Focus Features" logo with a modern version. The film now opens with Rose and Sharon in the field. Cut all scenes with Sean Bean's character throughout the film. Add new colour grading for scenes set in the real world, silent hill, and otherworld. Remove a couple of lines and shorten a few lines. Remove a scene with Cybil getting beat up by Christabella’s followers. Remove a scene of Sharon seeing Dark Alessa during the church massacre. The film now ends with Rose and Sharon leaving Silent Hill. I added new music for the end credits, which is taken from the good ending of the first game.
