I heard a lot of bad things about the film, saying it’s a bad film. However, when I watched it, I found it was not a bad film like everyone says it is. Sure, it’s not perfect, but with some fixes like removing a lot of bad dialogue and awful scenes, It can improve the film, making it more watchable and less cringe-worthy than the original.

Change List:
A new opening title sequence inspired by the first game The film starts with the plane to DOA Island. This skips the introduction scenes of Kasumi, Tina, and Christie because we will later learn why they’re here. Add 11 deleted scenes back to the film and colour-correct the deleted scene to closely match the original film colour grading. I removed a lot of bad dialogue and shortened some scenes. The film now ends with the group leaving the DOA island and new music (taken from the first game) playing over the credits.
