Synopsis:

In the action-packed final season of "X-Men: The Series," Wade Wilson, the wisecracking mercenary turned antihero, navigates a chaotic life after a rogue experiment leaves him disfigured but with accelerated healing powers. When he meets Russell, an angry teenage mutant targeted by the ruthless soldier Cable from a dystopian future, Deadpool teams up with a motley crew of mutants, including Bedlam, Shatterstar, and Domino, to protect the boy. Just as he starts to find his footing, the Time Variance Authority recruits him to safeguard the multiverse, forcing him to ally with his longtime rival, Wolverine. Together, they face cosmic threats and absurd timelines, all while juggling humor, action, and the existential stakes of their interconnected worlds.

Intentions:

I wanted to make the X-Men franchise more manageable for new viewers and to also fix the many continuity mistakes riddled throughout the franchise. This season focuses on Deadpool.

Intro created using the cancelled animated series test footage and “Maximum Effort” by Junkie XL. Credits inspired by the first film. Custom credits for every episode made using the first films credits. Used my own “Deadpool: Sins of the Past” edit as the base for the first film which used Maven48’s “Deadpool AtoBtoX(tended) cut” as inspiration. The basis of the edit was to move all the flashbacks to be one after another and trimmed some dialogue and shots to transition around flashbacks. Used my own “Deadpool 2: The King James Edition” edit as the base for the second film which had Deadpool 2: The Super Duper $@%!#& Cut as the base. I removed all scenes with Fred Savage. Used my own “Deadpool & Wolverine” edit as the base for the corresponding episodes with some different alterations. Episode 1: Deadpool Cut the intro sequence and jumped right to Deadpool in the cab. Cut the bridge 4th wall break. Cut 1 word before the flashback. Added the Cancer World Tour deleted scene. Cut before Wade makes his phone call for the procedure. Credit song: “Angel of the Morning” saxophone cover Episode 2: Deadpool Started with Wade in the facility. Cut after Deadpool flips into the garbage truck. Altered the fast-forward sequence to accommodate the previous edits. Credit song: “DMX Tribute” saxophone cover Episode 3: Deadpool Started with Deadpool getting out of the garbage truck. Ended the movie as normal. Cut the credits and credits scene. Credit song: “Careless Whisper” Episode 4: Deadpool 2 Started with Deadpools contract kills montage. Rescored the start for continuity. Altered the bar fight to be a mix of the theatrical and extended cuts. Changed the landing strip joke to the scout master joke from the theatrical. Removed references to the these being movies from the panic room scene. Removed a reference to the box office (Jesus joke) from the cab. Cut the credits. Inserted the beginning back in its chronological placement. Did a lot of trims and audio remixing to add it. Added a couple clips/audio from Once Upon A Deadpool. Used the theatrical version for the Wade/Colossus X-Mansion conversation until Wade gets thrown. Removed a reference to the box office (pants joke). Added the Cable scene from the theatrical. Rearranged the scene order to follow the theatrical order while still using the extended version. Cut after Russell is tortured. Credit song: “Ashes” saxophone cover Episode 5: Deadpool 2 Started with the theatrical version of Colossus telling Wade about the mission. Used a brief theatrical joke when Deadpool talks to Russell. Used the extended toilet paper scene. Used a moment from the theatrical in the bar scene to cut some jokes I didn’t really find funny from the extended. Cut after Russell teams up with Juggernaut. Credit song: “All Out of Love” saxophone cover Episode 6: Deadpool 2 Started with Deadpool putting together X-Force. Used a theatrical joke on the transit truck. Cut after Deadpool and Cable team up. Credit song: “Take My Breath Away” saxophone cover Episode 7: Deadpool 2 Started with Russell and Juggernaut at the store. Cut Deadpool’s gasp over the Juggernaut, some of his Juggernaut speech and fixed some obvious re-dubbing by adding in some clips from the theatrical version during the scene where they pick up the X-Men. Used the theatrical bear joke and run up song. Switched to the theatrical version right before Wade’s super suit/fat joke. Cut the fucking Colossus joke by using a clip from Once Upon A Deadpool. Switched back to the extended version right before the credit music starts. Credit song: “We Belong” saxophone cover Episode 8: No Good Deed & Multiverse Started with No Good Deed. Transitioned to the intro. Transitioned to scenes and audio from Loki and What If…?. Added scenes from the connected non-MCU franchises. Created an alternate time travel / multiversal travel sequence using the scenes from Deadpool 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine. Credit song: “Avengers Theme” saxophone cover Episode 9: Deadpool & Wolverine Cut the voiceover stuff. Moved the credits to their chronological placement. Cut the cocaine jokes. Cut the shot of Peter with the nipple clamps. Cut the Disney pegging joke. Added the deleted elevator scene. Cut the suck it Fox joke. Recut and rescored the credits sequence to remove the credits. Cut the audience retention joke. Cut the 20 years joke. Cut the MCU low point joke. Cut after they get sent to the void. Credit song: “Bye Bye Bye” saxophone cover Episode 10: Deadpool & Wolverine Cut the Loki joke. Moved the credit scene to its chronological placement. Cut after the van fight.
