Synopsis:

The original plan for this edit was to make the film a little bit more serious. Its still a funny film, but not so much as to take away from the story unfolding the way it does. Deadpool is in a dark place after the death of Vanessa, so the idea was to minimise some of the humour and give Deadpool more of a serious edge.

Intentions:

The main guideline of this edit was to re-cut dialogue. A lot of the jokes in the film go a bit to far in our opinion, and ruin the viewing experience, so they've been removed. We also wanted to give Deadpool's character, and the film as a whole, a more serious edge. So we felt it even more important to reduce the jokes because of the circumstance that our hero finds himself in. There has also been some major sound re-design in some of the scenes.

There was a lot of cut/changes in this edit (to many to state in a cut list) but, there have cuts and edits to dialogue in the following scenes: - Deadpool and the Triads - Deadpool in the bath house with the Yakuza - Deadpool and Dopinder in the cab before Deadpool meets Vanessa for their Anniversary - Deadpool and Vanessa talking about having children - Deadpool and Bucks conversation in the bar after the death of Vanessa - Conversation between Deadpool, Colossus and NTW when trying to recruit Deadpool as an X-Man - When the X-Men first arrive at the orphanage - Deadpool and Russel in their cell at the Ice Box - When the plan to save Russel is being explained - Deadpool and the X-Force in the helicopter - The Ice Box Convoy and when it crashes - Cable asking Deadpool for Help - The cab ride on the way to the X-Men mansion - Deadpool's conversation with Colossus - When Deadpool and the team first go back to the orphanage to stop Russel - The Juggernaut and Colossus fight - Deadpool and Russel's conversation at the end of the battle - Wade and Vanessa in Heaven - End scene when Deadpool survives There are also some visual cuts in the following scenes: - Deadpool beginning montage - Opening title sequence - The cab ride on the way to the X-Men mansion - When the X-Men show up at the final battle
