Synopsis:

Spider-Man has become an icon and the city has embraced him with open arms, but fame is not so easy to manage. Peter has been neglectful and Mary-Jane is lonely at a time when she needs him the most. A new hot-shot photographer and all around cool guy, Eddie Brock, wants to replace the Daily Bugle’s boy scout freelancer. To make matters worse Harry is determined to destroy Peter through deception and manipulation. As chaos ripples through each of their lives, a dark force will show up to empower those who are suffering.

Intentions:

Enjoy this during your next Spider-Man trilogy marathon. This definitive cut is also meant to push all the other Spider-Man 3 fanedits out of the way. I have seen a few versions that seem to make adjustments in the wrong places and to the wrong aspects. In an attempt to approach this movie honestly and fairly all of its biggest strengths were brought to the surface.

Change List:

I understand some people would like a sample of what has been changed. In an effort to keep it enticing, here is a list. New Opening sequence A new addition before the ending and a special surprise to follow after the ending Harry fakes his memory loss to ruin Peter’s life through deception MJ’s break up with Peter is now genuine. She breaks up with him for being neglectful. (Among other things, there are dialogue changes to account for these two scenarios I have described) Uncle Ben’s story has been nixed and the nightmare scenes have been replaced entirely. The final battle sequence has been drastically reworked. Peter is now blindsided and viciously attacked by Venom and Sandman. Peter no longer takes off the black suit. He wears it all the time and deals with the consequences that come with doing so. I hope everyone enjoys this version. It would be nice to have one we can all love together.
