Synopsis:

I've taken the bloated, overly long Hobbit trilogy, and cut it down to a single film - 2.5hrs, book only content!

I let the narrative not only follow Bilbo exclusively, and not only obey the book contents, but I also kept the audience in as much of the dark as the book did. We learn things WITH Bilbo instead of having massive info dumps off the top. Cuts & Additions: I cut out everything that wasn't in the book; I lose the added characters, I ditch Legolas - it is purely the book contents. It opens in the shire with Bilbo, it ends in the Shire with Bilbo.

Other Sources:

I utilized three legal copies of the films, and the soundtrack to help with transitions. They start pretty seamless and are never jarring, even when you pass the midway point and the cuts get bigger.
