Synopsis:

10 years after Order 66, the empire is searching for a rebel network called The Path. A group of inquisitors led by the Grand Inquisitor search for a young Jedi, Nari, who helps the people of Tatooine find said Path. But one inquisitor, Reva, is obsessed by another goal...Kenobi.

Intentions:

The idea for this version of Obi-Wan Kenobi arose in the Frikoide community telegram group. There was a lot of hype with this Disney+ series after seeing what they were capable of doing with The Volume technology, also known as Stagecraft, already seen in the 2 seasons of The Mandalorian. All expectations changed radically when seeing the 2 chapters released on the same day. What am I going to tell you that you don't know at this point? A script, dialogues and a soundtrack that is not up to par for a Star Wars product. Frikoide, administrator of his YouTube community group, proposed the idea that this series could improve a lot if music from the prequels were added and the most ridiculous and insulting scenes for the viewer's eyes were cut, such as: seeing how they run behind Leia and they never reach her, Reva doing parkour but never arrives in time. At first I didn't see a fix for this series. I was very disappointed with what they did. But a few days later Frikoide passed through the group YouTube videos of people making clips of the final fight Obi-wan vs Vader with the music of the prequels, there I saw that interesting things could be done and that was the main motivation for creating this Obi-Wan Kenobi fan edit. The fan edit is already finished and can be seen in Spanish from Spain, obviously it was originally set up in that version, since I am from Spain. And I have also prepared it in the same MVK in the V.O in English. Since mine liked it so much that they wanted to see it in its original language.

Change List:

CHANGES AND FIXES: By reducing the duration and going from a 6-episode series to a movie. The change is notable in the way the story is told, the order of scenes has been changed compared to the original series. - Nari finds Obi-Wan earlier and asks for his help. The next day she meets the inquisitors in a cantina and flees. - Obi-Wan later finds Nari's lifeless body hanging in the streets of Tatoonie and decides to go in search of his lightsaber buried in the desert to one day be able to defend himself from the inquisitors searching for Jedi in Tatoonie. -Reva arrives at Mapuzo first by getting the information from the false Jedi, Haya Estree, when she read his mind, he manages to find the refuge of The Path before Obi-Wan and Leia arrive on the planet. Reva just waits until they arrive. (This way it is better understood why Reva is at the end of the tunnel, when in the series Tala and Leia entered long before Reva and it is never understood how it is possible that Reva arrived before Leia...) - Added the sound of Obi-Wan's "Boga" (Episode III) when Reva asks him where he was at the time Anakin killed the Jedi in the temple. Sorry if I forget a few. DELETED SCENES: THE PREQUELS COMPILATION: THE JOURNEY OF OBI-WAN - It is left out of this cut, since it is aimed at an audience that takes for granted how Obi-Wan arrived at Tatoonie after Order 66... ORDER 66 - This scene of Reva as a child right at the beginning of the series (as if she were the protagonist) in a series called OBI-WAN KENOBI. I don't see any sense in a new character wanting to take center stage from the protagonist of the series... ALDERAAN The scenes of the first chapter on Alderaan - including those of Leia's cousin - Bail Organa's speech - Leia's escapades to the countryside - The kidnapping... etc. Everything is left out to give more prominence to Obi-wan. That it is his movie for a reason. DAIYU - Eliminated the absurd chase between Obi-Wan and Leia running across the roofs of the city of Daiyu because the power of the script makes 10-year-old Leia jump to conclusions when she sees the wanted poster for Obi-wan and she does not trust of her savior... Reva is also eliminated doing Parkour for 4 minutes and can't make it in time. NUR, THE FORTRESS OF THE INQUISITION -Eliminated a dialogue from Tala where he mentions the Grand Inquisitor, because he should be aware that he is dead and then he would instantly betray her. -Fragments of Tala infiltrating the fortress have been eliminated, so that it does not give the feeling of being in his house. -Eliminated, the Imperial General asks him to identify himself because that is not his position. LEIA ENGINEER IS ELIMINATED So the hangar door locks on its own or breaks down at that very moment (chances of life) or whatever you want to believe. "Anything is better than putting a girl through a hole full of wires" - The fact is that Roken manages to open the hangar door without Leia's help. Numerous dialogues that commented on what they did in the previous chapter have been removed. Portions of Reva's dialogue have also been removed in a mocking tone. - When Obi-Wan is in full meditation at the beginning of chapter 3 - He says to Leia "How cute" in chapter 4 -"We have Kenobi" when it is evident that you have him kneeling and handcuffed in front of your nose. Chapter 5

Other Sources:

DARTH PORG DEEPFAKE: - In this Fan-edit, the deepfake of Hayden Christensen, De-age, is incorporated into the flashback scene with Anakin Skywalker, from Episode II Attack of the Clones, to improve the feeling of investment and not shock when seeing an Anakin who is supposed to be a 20 year old padawan, and not 40. TOWER AND WALL CREATED BY MP_3D: - A replica of the inverted tower to the left of the original and a wall inspired by the 2017 STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II video game were added EXCLUSIVELY for this 2024 version, specifically from the campaign mode in the mission 'The Storm' on the planet Vardos : Imperial Bastion. The tower and the wall were recreated by Migue Pérez, CG Artist and 3D video game animator, whom I was lucky enough to meet as a member of the Frikoides community and to whom I am eternally grateful. Thanks to him, we were able to bring you this fix to avoid the feeling that Obi-Wan and Leia could have gone around the right tower or crossed the left side of the red beam support instead of firing at the beam controls. This makes the viewer feel that the protagonists are more surrounded and enclosed, with fewer possibilities of escaping or fleeing elsewhere. ADDED MUSICAL THEMES FROM THE PREQUELS AND CLASSICS 1. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode IV: A New Hope) 2. Jawa Sandcrawler (Episode IV: A New Hope) 3. Qui-Gon Takes On A New Apprentice (Episode I: The Phantom Menace) 4. Binary Sunset (Episode IV: A New Hope) 5. Departing Coruscant (Episode II: Attack of the clones) 6. Anakin And Padmé (Episode II: Attack of the clones) 7. Krennic-s Aspirations (Rogue One) 8.
