Synopsis:

#ReleaseTheTylerCut is a version of The Super Mario Bros. Movie with every needle drop replaced with its intended soundtrack.

Intentions:

One of my dream projects was to create a fanedit of The Super Mario Bros. Movie and replace its licensed tracks with Brian Tyler’s original score, composed specifically for this film.

Change List:

-“Battle Without Honor or Humanity” has been removed from the center channel and replaced with “King of the Koopas” -“No Sleep Till Brooklyn” has been removed from the center channel and replaced with “Press Start” -“Holding Out For a Hero” has been removed from the center channel and replaced with “World 1-1” -“Take on Me” has been replaced with “Drivin’ Me Bananas” -“Thunderstruck” has been removed from the center channel and replaced with “Karts!” -“Mr. Blue Sky” has been removed from the center channel and replaced with both “Mario Brothers Rap” and the vinyl-exclusive track “Bonus Level” -Any sound effects lost during the noise removal process were replaced with a combination of stock/prerecorded/self-recorded SFX -All replacement tracks have been timed with the animation and (if applicable) synced with with their respective outros in the original film -All replacement tracks have been split and placed in their designated audio channels (if the original song was mixed in the center, so to will the new track) Changes Made in v2: -"World 1-1" has been repositioned three frames to the right

Additional Notes:

Current Version: v2 All background music was manually removed through the use of Audacity. No AI was used in the process of vocal isolation.
