Additional Notes:
The biggest changes are pretty much just the soundtrack. I've replaced all of the classical music with 1960s and 1970s funk and R&B. However, a few minor visual changes have been made. I digitally threw in some dust, dirt, scratches, and grain to deliberately make the image quality bad, as well as ruin the contrast give it some overly blue color tones to enhance the effect. I have also thrown in a couple of psychedelic tints during the first two monolith encounters in the film. However, I didn't need to throw in any psychedelic tints for the monolith's grand finale, as it was trippy enough that it didn't need to be adjusted. The edit turned out to be 5 minutes longer, but that is only because of the intermission, overture, and end credits where the altered music ended up lasting longer than the actual film.
