Synopsis:
Japan faces a catastrophic threat when toxic pollution gives rise to Hedorah, a smog monster that feeds on industrial waste and grows exponentially. As Hedorah ravages the environment and threatens human existence, Godzilla emerges to confront this monstrous adversary. Amidst the chaos, humanity desperately seeks a way to halt Hedorah's rampage before it's too late, Leading to a climactic showdown between the King of the Monsters and this pollution-spawned terror at the base of Mt. Fuji.
Intentions:
My intention behind this edit was simple: To completely transform Godzilla vs Hedorah by syncing it up to 'Dark Side of the Moon'. What I wanted to make was less of a traditional movie-watching experience and more of an audio/visual experience. To allow both works of art to meld together and create something unique.
Change List:
Removed a majority of the soundtrack of the original film and replaced it with the entirety of Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
Added a small tribute to Kenpachiro Satsuma at the end (He passed away right as I was putting the finishing touches on this edit.)
Additional Notes:
In order for the music and the visuals to sync better, the music had to be removed. The opening song and the vocals of the song at the end remain intact. I also kept most of the the diegetic music aside from the music in the club. I used an AI to separate the music and the audio
