Synopsis:
Presenting a Truncated Hybrid Aspect Ratio Edit of Titanic, re-framing the narrative as a Love Story on the Doomed Maiden Voyage of the Titular Ship, taking place from April 10 1912 to April 15 1912. The years-later search for The Heart of the Ocean, and the older Rose narrating her memories are excised, for a total 45min cut from the original runtime of 195min. Thus we follow the blossoming romance for the first 69min (presented in Scope 2.40:1) followed by the disaster and survival drama for 74min (presented in Open Matte 1.78:1) reverting to Scope for the final 7min End Credits.
