Synopsis:

Walter Mitty lives a very mundane life, with no love life, a boss that couldn't care less about him, and many cases of dissociation from his own personal life through daydreaming. However, Walter receives a call to action in the form of the missing negative 23, the so-called "Quintessence of Life". In order to find this negative, Walter will embark on a globe-trotting journey way beyond himself, while learning to find beauty in everything life has to offer.

Intentions:

This fan edit adds deleted/extended scenes not shown in the theatrical cut, while also shortening a couple of Walter's dream sequences, as well as an alternative track called "Step Out" (Jose Gonzales) used for Walter's travel to Greenland.

Change List:

- Sterling Edits logo added to opening and end credits. - Added "daily routine" scene (shows the mundanity of Walter's life, showing why he daydreams). - "Quintessence of LIFE Edition" title added w/ masking. - Deleted "ice climber" scene added. - Walter vs Beard Guy fight shortened (felt like it dragged a little too long in my opinion). - Removed "Benjamin Buttons" scene (makes it so that Walter's daydreams aren't always some huge dramatic moment, but simple things as well). - Alternate track ("Step Out"- Jose Gonzalez) used for Walter's first flight to Greenland (felt more fitting, since this is Walter's first time "stepping out", and because it was in the soundtrack, but never used in the movie). - Added "severance package" scene (shows some of the lesser seen characters, while also being a subtle way of showing that Walter still has his maladaptive daydreaming). - "Space Oddysey" added to end credits.
