Intentions:
Secret Invasion, cut down into an 80 minute Special Presentation, restructures the original narrative, aiming to bring the depiction of Skrulls in line with how they were introduced in Captain Marvel, and reframe the tension from a classic "Evil Skrulls all around us" narrative into one of a species scapegoated for the crimes of a small but powerful group.
