Synopsis:

Peter Parker's relaxing European vacation takes an unexpected turn when Nick Fury arrives in his hotel room to recruit him for a mission. The world is in danger as four massive elemental creatures -- each representing Earth, air, water, and fire -- emerge from a hole torn in the universe. Parker soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury and fellow superhero Mysterio stop the evil entities from wreaking havoc across the continent.

Intentions:

As a massive fan of Bobson Dugnutt's Elemental Expansion Edition, I must say he heavily inspired this edit! While Bobson's goal was to create the longest possible version of FFH, my goal was to create a tighter but still extended version of the film in a 1.90 IMAX aspect ratio. This edit forgoes a few deleted scenes that I found too unfinished, added too little, or made pacing inconsistent. The film's ending is restructured like Bobson's, and I used a few of his audio transitions as well because his edit is fantastic! I highly recommend checking out The Elemental Expansion Edition for a complete FFH.

Change List:

This edit uses an IMAX version as a base and includes all IMAX-enhanced sequences present in the theatrical cut. All deleted scenes and shots are color-graded to match the theatrical cut. Added select deleted scenes and trailer moments. Added Peter's To-Do List, edited according to the Elemental Expansion Edition (and, by extension, the OG Extended Cut of the film) Added an alternate angle of Peter shutting his closet after he looks at his suit. Reintegrated Peter’s deleted line, "No banana, great." Used an alternate take of MJ at “What is it with you and Spider-Man?” Reintegrated trailer shot of Peter giving Flash a thumbs up. Reintegrated Fury’s deleted line "Let's go for a ride" (audio only). Added Peter and MJ falling asleep on each other on the plane ride back. Added Spider-Sense SFX in the Peter Tingle scene. The mid-credit scene is now attached to the end of the film. Added “The Definitive Edition” to the FFH title card. Moved the end-credits scene with Fury and Hill to the mid-credits. Added the Flash post-credit scene like Bobson Dugnutt. Tightened up the scene for brevity and added a custom Instagram-story-style layer. Added Risinger Productions title card

Special Thanks:

A huge thanks to Bobson Dugnutt for inspiring much of this edit!
